The main focus of the smartwatch was its design. ASUS has designed the watch in a gorgeous and elegant design. Stainless steel case gives it a luxurious look and finish. A thin bezel & three button design makes it more beautiful. The case is figuratively wafer thin with a thickness of only 0.39 inch with a dimension of 1.77×1.77×0.39 inch. The watch has such an elegant design that it kind of looks like an expensive branded watch. This smartwatch comes in three different color choices. They are- Gunmetal, Silver and Rose Gold. The strap is a leather strap, which gives it a more beautiful and elegant appearance. ASUS followed a traditional and genuine Italian tailoring for the leather strap to give it a more classic and luxurious look. The design is also a water resistant design, it has an IP67 water-resistance rating. This smartwatch can be submerged in up to 1 meter deep water for 30 minutes. It is indeed great for wearing at your jogging and exercise session. Overall, the design is quite a competitor in the smartwatch industry.

Another plus point of this smartwatch is its display. ASUS ZenWatch 3 has an AMOLED 1.39” display which has a resolution of 400×400 pixels with a pixel density of 287ppi. This smartwatch also supports multitouch up to two fingers. The better part of the display is, it comes with six custom designed themes and more than 50 exclusive watch faces to let you choose your desired type of display appearance. You can match the watch face according to your individual style and your functional preferences. You can follow these six themes- Luxury, Digital, Simplicity, Sport, Urban and Youth.

This smartwatch has a super impressive internal specification. The smartwatch is run by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Wear 2100 processor which is considered an excellent processor for providing solid performance. It has 512 MB RAM with a whopping 4GB eMMC flash storage. Hence it will be more than enough for you in respect of your usage. It has several connectivity options like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Besides it has 6-Axis sensors along with an ambient light sensor.

This smartwatch also has an excellent battery. It has a battery of 340 mAh which is capable of giving you a long lasting back up time and usage time. You won’t have to charge multiple times every day. Besides this smartwatch has quick charging option which actually gives you more ease and comfort. The watch has Eco mode which can yield up to 200% battery usage. Besides its Qualcomm® processor consumes 25% less energy than other processors. So you do not have worry at all about the battery performance.

This smartwatch is indeed excellent for its smart performance. It has ZenWatch Manager which acts as your personal assistant. You can get messages from your friends, weather updates and a variety of useful assistance that helps you to make the most of your day. This smartwatch also has ZenFit app, that helps you to follow various exercising and fitness routines. It tracks a range of essential workout activities like walking, running, push-ups and sit-ups with an excellent accuracy.
Among all these brilliant features, this smartwatch has some serious drawbacks. This smartwatch doesn’t have a GPS which is actually a great flaw for this beautiful smartwatch. Besides, this smartwatch doesn’t have a heart rate sensor which is quite common in almost all smartwatches. This two lacking of this smartwatch may cause serious trouble for its position in the smartwatch market. Some users have concern with the design because they prefer a sporty type of design where this smartwatch has kind of a formal design. So it is quite a problem for ASUS.
This smartwatch is sold at 250£ which is not that expensive nor cheap. Such gorgeous and elegant looking watch in such great price could be a great deal. Now the time will say how successful it is going to be.
